Description:
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Controller will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company.
This position will play a critical role in managing accounting functions, financial reporting, and internal controls, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and mentor accounting team, providing guidance and support in their daily activities.
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and analyses for management and other stakeholders.
Assist with the M&A process and post-acquisition integrations.
Develop and maintain internal controls, alongside enhancing systems that will improve overall operation and productivity of the business while safeguarding assets.
Lead and develop the cost accounting policies and procedures in the business.
Identify areas of improvement in product margins and develop cost and inventory reduction initiatives.
Assist with the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing variance analysis to monitor performance against budget.
Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets and forecasts.
Ensure regulatory compliance in all financial transactions and reporting.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
Manage working capital, banking relationships, and treasury functions.
Stay informed about changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends, and implement best practices as needed.

Requirements:
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA preferred
5+ years’ of experience in Accounting, with at least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Knowledge of Epicor business software preferred
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Knowledge of accounting regulations and compliance requirements
Ability to adapt to a changing environment
Role will be an onsite position
