You will be responsible for a range of accounting tasks, with a particular emphasis on customer invoicing and collections, accounts payable and expense management, cash application, and monthly close tasks to facilitate a smooth book close and financial reporting process.
This position requires a keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a methodical approach to work assignments.
Essential Functions: Create and submits invoices to customers via email and P2P portal submission Match incoming payments to outstanding invoices (cash application) Maintain communication with banking and treasury management contacts Generate Dunning Letter email notifications from accounting system Review AR aging schedule for past due invoices needing further collection efforts and contacts delinquent accountholders to request payment Process accounts payable and expense transactions, ensuring accurate coding, approval, and timely pay Research and respond to customer and vendor inquiries Assist with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and accounts Assist in the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Must be willing to work at least 60% in-person at our HQ in State College, PA 2+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience College degree is preferred, but not required Basic knowledge and proficiency of Excel and Microsoft Office Suite Experience with NetSuite, Ramp, ADP is a plus Must be organized and have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy and thoroughness Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-changing environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures At KCF Technologies, we are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
