Senior Accountant

Local construction manufacturing company seeks a Senior Accountant to join their team.
Successful candidate will be responsible for the generating monthly year end financial statements and for providing technical guidance to both on-site off-site accounting team members.
Required Skills Experience: • 4 or more years of experience in Public or Corporate accounting as a Staff Accountant • ADVANCED Excel skills with proven knowledge of complex functions and pivot tables • Current on fundamentals of GAAP, with technical foundation in reconciliation, and cost accounting.
• Balance Sheet account analysis and reconciliation • Cash Management monthly Bank Statement reconciliations among multiple companies.

in Accounting is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with QuickBooks and Excel.
• Knowledge of payroll functions, cost accounting, and intercompany receivables/payables.
• Ability to quickly learn new software and assist with training other team members on it.
• Excellent time management organization skills • Strong team building skills and proven ability to work with a diverse group of people
