To perform this job successfully, the incumbent will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently.

Education/Qualifications: Essential: 1.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
2.
3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
3.
Sound knowledge and ability to use Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) systems, preferably NetSuite/Oracle.
4.
Adequate communication skills to thrive in a diverse environment working with other team members and management.
Desirable: 1.
Experience in oil and gas or related industry.
2.
Prior experience with Sales and Use Tax.
Requirements/Skills: Essential: 1.
Strong analytical skills.
2.
Ability to work with suite of Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Microsoft Excel (advanced excel skills will be an advantage over other candidates) 3.
Demonstrate professional and clear written/oral communication skills with disciplined attention to details.
4.
Ambitious initiative and the ability to manage multiple tasks as well as strong follow through skills.
5.
Ability to identify the need for, and accurately prepare, routine and non-routine management reports.
6.
Comfortable with working independently at times.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for sales and use tax compliance, including research, filing returns and audits.
Assist with the monthly financial close process.
Perform monthly account reconciliations and journal entries.
Assist with the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and reports.
Data mining and analysis.
Assist with audits and reviews by complying with requests and providing necessary information.
Fixed asset accounting and maintenance.
Job performance analysis.
Various standard and ad hoc management reports.
Other duties as assigned.
