Compensation: Guaranteed First-Year Income
Purpose:
Provides product expertise and support to dealership personnel and established customer base in selling to commercial, governmental, and construction customers.
Responsibilities:
Represents the dealership in the sale of the full line of products to commercial, construction, and governmental customers
Creates, develops, and maintains customer accounts in the commercial mowing and compact construction equipment, and governmental segment
Knows and follows a defined sales process
Maintains product knowledge on all dealerships full line of products
Responsible for sales of Commercial Construction Equipment (CCE)
Maintains and reports all commercial mowing, governmental, CCE customer activities, and trends in assigned territory to sales management
Understands various financing options available on commercial, CCE, and government sales of equipment
Coordinates with John Deere Landscapes branches in display and sale of commercial equipment
Organizes product demonstrations and clinics for commercial mowing customers, and participates in local trade shows and dealership promotional events
Maintains dealership vehicle and other equipment as assigned
Responsible for other duties as assigned by your manager
Requirements:
Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:
1+ years equipment sales experience
Knowledge of commercial mowing products and landscape industry
Excellent customer relationship skills
Ability to work flexible hours
Ability to speak and write effectively one-on-one and within a group
Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
High school diploma or equivalent work experience
