ER Manager

Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee the daily operations of the ER department - Ensure efficient patient flow and timely delivery of care - Coordinate with healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care - Implement and enforce policies and procedures to maintain a safe and effective work environment - Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed - Collaborate with other departments to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction - Utilize pain management techniques to provide comfort to patients - Conduct utilization management to ensure appropriate use of resources - Provide nursing care, including medication administration, IV insertion, and inhalation therapy - Perform utilization review to assess the necessity and efficiency of medical services Qualifications: - Valid nursing license and relevant certifications - Proven experience in emergency room management or a similar role - Knowledge of dementia care best practices - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
