We are currently looking for dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant Students to join our Centre Care Team.
Job Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivilent Required
PA Background Check
Drug Screen
COVID Vaccine
1 year experience in a healthcare setting prefered.
Job Responsibilities
Assists residents with ADL’s as needed, and provides total care for those unable to care for themselves;
Distributes food trays, assists or feeds residents, as needed;
Ambulates residents who need assistance;
Treats all residents with dignity and respect;
Makes rounds every two hours and turns bed-bound residents providing skin care, as needed.
Reviews residents’ care plans and provides care as planned, including bowel and bladder program and restorative nursing program;
Monitors vital signs, charts and documents care appropriately.
Receives report, making note of information given during report and meeting scheduled activities for the resident;
Organizes work, setting priorities and follows Centre Care policy and procedures while giving care;
Maintains positive interaction with resident, family and other staff members;
Provides clean, neat environment for residents.
Makes beds, keeps bedside cabinets neat and clean;
Provides safety by keeping equipment in appropriate place on nursing units;
Provides snacks and juice to designated residents, assists as needed;
Maintains confidentiality of resident information;
Demonstrates good Infection Control principles regarding hand washing, aseptic techniques, isolation procedures, gowning and gloving.
Cooperates and offers help to co-workers;
Assures physical comfort and mental wellbeing of residents;
Observes and reports symptoms, reactions and changes.
Have ability to manage stress tolerance, pressure and anxiety
