Job Summary HRI, Inc.
, a leader in heavy civil construction since 1947, has an opening for an experienced and energetic Bridge Crew Members.
The position will report to the supervisor on the project and will be responsible for a variety of duties in and around job site of construction projects.
Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success.
The ideal candidate has a proven record of success in fast-paced environments.
Must have the ability to work with and communicate with cross-functional teams.
Main Responsibilities Complete tasks as directed by supervisor in a timely manner Maintain and clean work areas Handles, stacks, and move formwork and materials.
Keep jobsite clean and orderly by cleaning and stacking materials not in use Perform shoveling, raking, and demolition work as required Assist others during concrete placements Able to work and assist others to work in a safe manner within the guidelines of the company's policies Other duties may be assigned Applies the safety guidelines including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment.
Carries out the work based on precise directives from their superiors.
Prepares the tools, the materials, necessary for the building of the structure and the workspace.
Makes procurements for the construction site if necessary.
Transports and stores equipment.
Ensures the cleanliness of the construction site.
Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred Valid driver's license with the ability to maintain a clean driving history Skills Previous experience and knowledge with construction job sites Physical Requirements Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by Company safety guidelines Regularly required to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance Regularly required to use hands to move and manipulate objects Regularly required to communicate (talk and hear) Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Standing/working on feet for long periods, and walking across uneven terrain Frequent exposure to loud noise Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles Regularly exposed to fuel, oil, and other chemicals Required to work varying hours, including nights/weekends, Overtime as the need arises Must follow the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements Proven track record working safely Good work ethic, professional, and positive attitude Benefits and Perks Choice of 3 Medical Plan Options Prescription Drug Coverage Dental and Vision Plans Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Options Access to Telemedicine and Healthcare Advocacy Services Employee Assistance Program Life and AD&D Insurance Disability Insurance 401(k) Savings Plan with Company Match Great Starting Rates Sign on Bonus of $1,000 will be awarded to all hired candidates after 90 days of employment Colas Inc.
